Tide data presented in this app is sourced from official hydrographic and meteorological agencies where such data is published, and from a global tide model for coastlines outside those agency networks. Predictions derived from the global tide model are modelled estimates and are generally less precise than official agency predictions, particularly in estuaries, rivers, and shallow or complex coastal waters.

Tide data for the United Kingdom is based on data that is made available by the United Kingdom Hydrographic Office. The UKHO does not necessarily support or endorse, or have any connection with, the product. UKHO gives no warranty of any kind whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise in respect to the availability, accuracy, currency, completeness, quality or reliability of the information or that the information will be fit for any particular purpose or will not infringe any third party Intellectual Property rights.
